Outgoing President Message
This past year has been significant; however, it represents more than just the passage of time. Every outgoing president has served at least four consecutive years, with some, like me, serving six years by transitioning directly from the RVP term to International Secretary. These six years have provided both personal and professional growth.
During my farewell address at the convention, I reflected on a phrase from How to Make Yourself Indispensable: “Feel the Fear. Do it Anyway.” This sentiment resonated with me during my candidacies for RVP and Secretary. The skills developed within this association are highly transferable, and each experience along this path has helped me build confidence, be bold, and make tough decisions. I am a better version of myself due to this journey. This is YOUR impact on me. It is my honor to help others in my office become better versions of themselves, and that’s the impact of this association on our industry: Building members up. Preparing for the future. Working together.

Incoming President Message
As I start my term as your IAIP International President, I went back and reflected on my response to my blog question when I ran for Secretary. The question was “What do you see as our next steps to ensure we are on the path to success?”
My response referred to a recently enhanced website, the anticipated release of the LMS, and better brand marketing of Insurance Professionals to the industry. All of these are still true today as we are moving the website to a new, more user-friendly platform with its own fully integrated LMS. We’ve had success generating interest in our Corporate Membership and talent development programs, but need to find ways to keep these members engaged after the first year. Splitting the Education Committee will enable us to develop content quicker. I am excited for the coming year and see many opportunities for Insurance Professionals to grow. Building. Futures. Together.
