Don’t let time get away from you as we keep moving forward at a feverish pace preparing for the 2024 International Convention in Scottsdale AZ, June 7 – 9. Did you hear that the convention website launched? Go ahead and book your hotel room and send in your registration. This is an event that you will not want to miss.
Last week, your IAIP Board spent a full day in meetings. There are so many things happening with IAIP I wish I could share them all with you right now, but we just don’t have the room. But I’ll share a few little bites with you…
- The IAIP Marketplace has amazing convention-branded items, deadline to order is May 10. The IAIP Marketplace is now open year-round.
- Our LMS (Learning Management System) is in full swing.
- The Education Task Force is developing a new designation: ACR – Associate in Client Relations.
- Our membership drive is active through the end of May – have you reached out to a co-worker or former member to ask them to come check out the new things going on at IAIP?
- Grants and Scholarships – invest in yourself with a Legacy Foundation Donation.
I hope you are planning on attending your regional conference – or one of the June 6 regional conferences participating in the hub in Scottsdale. At your conference, your RVP will provide you with a full update on all things IAIP and share the awesome accomplishments we have made in the last year. I am so proud of all our IAIP members!
Have you given any thought to the next steps in your IAIP journey? Are you ready to join a Task Force, become an officer or board member for your local association, council, or region? Have you taken a class, are you ready to teach a class? Run for RVP or International Secretary? There are so many opportunities out there for you to build your skills, increase your confidence and they all benefit you as well as the association.
