How excited are you to join us in Scottsdale, AZ for the International Convention? Registered yet? Missed the early bird pricing? Fear not! It’s still possible to get some assistance attending the convention. Have you asked your employer for support to attend?
Attending the annual convention isn’t just a good time visiting with friends. In addition to the networking and fellowship opportunities, we have tons of engaging content – industry trends, continuing education (see specific state filings available on the website), IGNITE Panel, our exciting keynote speaker: Erin O’Malley, and always a crowd favorite – the CWC Competition! New this year, the debut of our Associate in Client Relations designation program.
Attending the convention not only helps you reconnect and re-engage, but it also affords you the opportunity to sharpen your skills and bring valuable information back to your team.
Need a little help convincing your employer to invest in you? We have a Justification Toolkit on the website. The figures and locations in the toolkit are updated annually for each specific convention. You need only research a few expenses specific to you. These tools can help outline the costs associated with your attendance at the convention. It’s up to you to convey how valuable your attendance is to your whole team! For a final feather in your cap, you can request an email to be sent back to your employer by the International President outlining your activities and contribution to the event using the member recognition request. We can’t wait to see you there!
