As a commercial lines representative, most of my day is full of applications. I might work on a new business application for inland marine coverage in the morning, an application for workers compensation coverage right before lunch and spend my afternoon working on a renewal submission. These applications are a necessary and important part of my job.
IAIP also has its share of applications. There is an application for scholarships and grants, an application to run for an officer position, an application for designations and an application for awards. These applications are as necessary and important to your IAIP membership as the other applications are to my job success.
Several people have asked me questions about the applications so here is a FAQ to help you.
Where are the applications?
For most of the applications:
Sign into the website
From the home page, select Members Only > Leader Resources >Toolkits> Forms
Legacy Foundation scholarship apps are found at www.naiwlegacyfoundation.org
Award Applications
If you aren’t utilizing a membership activity record, start one today!
Sign into the webstite
From the home page, select Membersrs Only > Leader Resourses > Toolkits > Membership
Information on International Convention dates and locations:
Sign into the website
From the home page, select My Profile > Profile Home
Look for the edit button for your personal information and select it
Payments & History > Event Registrations
Note: for regional and other events, you will need to determine that information in another way. Check your photos and ask your friends!

How do I pay the application fee online?

Here are some additional tips for you:
- Start early so you have adequate time to double check the application.
- Stick to the requested timeframes.
- On some of the applications, you only have to do one of the activities so pay attention
- Have someone review your application to see if you missed anything.
- Pay attention to the due dates and submit your application early
Most of all, send them in. If you do, you might not win but if you don’t you definitely won’t.
