Education is the first Building Block because this is what Insurance Professionals does best. But one Education Task Force can’t do it all. This year, the Education Task Force has been split into two separate Task Forces:
The Education-Product Development Task Force will focus on developing new programs, renewal classes for existing programs, and review existing programs for relevance. One of their tasks this year is to review the Selling Essentials program to determine what additional topics can be added to the program to make it a full designation for sales.
Another task will be to integrate rapidly evolving topics such as AI, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and other industry hot topics into our education platform while ensuring the content remains current.
The Education–Program Support Task Force will focus will be on the administration-side. They will support our IAIP Certified Trainers by maintaining a current list of trainers and moderators available to teach Insurance Professionals’ classes.
They will also review and update all designation renewal applications to include Non-Coursework Activities. This will allow members who put their leadership and training skills to use teaching IAIP classes the chance to put those hours towards a renewal designation.
By dividing the Education Task Force’s responsibilities, each Task Force is able to specialize and bring greater depth to their respective missions. The Product Development group can devote its full energy to innovation and curriculum relevance, while the Program Support group ensures smooth delivery and up-to-date recognition for all who contribute their expertise. This dual approach not only streamlines our educational offerings but also creates a more robust support system for instructors and members alike.
These strategic enhancements are designed to keep IAIP at the forefront of industry education, empowering insurance professionals to not only keep pace with change but to confidently lead the way forward.
