You know that feeling when you’ve been chipping away at something for months, and then one day… bam! It’s done? That’s exactly how I felt after scheduling my last continuing education credits needed this year through our association’s incredible offerings. The Insurance Professionals might not be a CE provider, but we certainly know the companies that are!
Let’s be honest — keeping up with CE credits can sometimes feel like a never-ending game of Whac-A-Mole. You knock one out, and another pops up. Between busy workdays, family life, and the occasional “just one more episode” Netflix binge, finding time for professional development isn’t always easy.
But here’s the good news: you don’t have to do it alone. Our association’s network of CE partners makes it not only doable, but (dare I say it?) genuinely enjoyable.
A Shout-Out to Our CE Partners
A heartfelt thanks to our amazing CE partners, who make learning engaging, relevant, and accessible:
- Paul Davis – delivering real-world knowledge across a wide variety of topics. I’ve taken many PD classes over the years!
- MSO – keeping us sharp with classes not only at the International Convention, but also CE-credit webinars throughout the year. They even helped me meet my Tennessee Ethics requirement this cycle!
- IPFS – providing insightful, informative classes, both in person and via webinars. They’re even presenting the class that will push me over the finish line at the South Carolina Council Meeting.
- Insurance Journal Academy – online credits can be tricky to stick with, but I enjoyed every minute of the 8 hours I completed with IJA.
- Enterprise Mobility – their Rental Reimbursement class is frequently updated. Check your state’s rules to see how often you can take it for credit.
- The Institutes – apply for a scholarship toward a designation that can help you meet CE requirements and earn a new credential. That’s a win-win!
- Other valued partners:
- PuroClean
- Safelite
- WebCE
Without these partners, I might still be staring at my CE tracker in mild panic. Instead, I’m sipping coffee with a big smile, confident I’m ready for my October renewal.
Pro Tip: Think Beyond Your Zip Code
Here’s something that worked for me — ask nearby local, council, or regional groups if they can offer CE for your state, even if you’re not in their area. You might be pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome.
I’m based in Tennessee, but next month I’ll be finalizing my CE requirements at the South Carolina Council Meeting. It’s a fantastic way to expand your network, enjoy a new event, and cross that CE finish line without stress. How did I manage that? I asked. You never know when they might already have the class filed in your state, and if not, an early request could give them time to file it.
Your Turn
If you’re still working toward your CE requirements, remember: you can earn them while connecting with peers, sharing ideas, and strengthening our community. Check out your local, council, or regional meetings — you’ll leave with more than just credits; you’ll leave inspired.
Here’s to learning, growing, and celebrating every little win along the way!
