2What inspires you to be part of Insurance Professionals and what prompted you to join?  I joined in 1979 after meeting a member of NAIW at an IAIB Tennessee Convention.  I was new in the business and wanted to network with other  individuals in insurance. After meeting Rachel, I attended my first meeting the next month and there was never a time that I didn’t want to be a member. I have always felt IAIP was a  group of members that have talent, dedication, and loyalty. I developed business and personal relationships with many members that were not agents like myself. Because of my involvement in NAIW I was asked to serve with other education, foundations and trade associations where I have held leadership roles for the past 40 years.
