There is so much to celebrate during IAIP Week, May 19 – 25! We are a vibrant organization of insurance professionals supporting each other through what have been some difficult years. What have we done? We quickly adapted to using virtual tools to stay connected; we launched a new Learning Management System; we improved our classes to be relevant in the current work environments; we launched new designations; we continued and enhanced our scholarship and grant offerings through the Legacy Foundation; and more and more! Through it all, the most important thing for me is that we stayed connected – whether virtually or in-person – the strength of IAIP is our people. For this I say Thank You.

What is Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals doing to celebrate IAIP Week? Here are some of our plans:

  • We requested a proclamation from our Governor.
  • We are holding our annual meeting on Tuesday, May 21.
  • We are doing a silent auction at our annual meeting to support the Legacy Foundation.
  • We are visiting local agencies and insurance partners during the first two weeks of May to personally invite them to our May annual meeting – providing a Welcome Packet to IAIP/VTAIP
  • The invitation includes a coupon for one person’s registration fee.
  • We will be making daily posts on our social media pages from members who are sharing how IAIP/VTAIP has benefited them in their insurance career journey.
  • We are publishing our spring newsletter at the beginning of the week encouraging all to participate in our events and activities.

We’d love to hear how you are planning to celebrate. Sharing ideas is another great benefit of our networking organization! Message me, Stephanie J. Oakes, through the IAIP website or at vtaippresident@gmail.com. Share your ideas with everyone that you can and enjoy the many benefits of IAIP!
