What a year this has been for IAIP! I am so incredibly honored to serve as your Executive Director alongside Betsey Blimline, Director of Marketing and Education, Ashley Vander Wyk, Membership Manager and Marcie Maddox, Convention Manager. This is an association management dream team. What do dream teams do best, make dreams come true.
In the last year, we have experienced great change that has catapulted IAIP into the future. The future visions were set by the IAIP board of directors years ago and if you’ve ever wonder if dreams can come true, the 2023 IAIP year is proof positive if you dream it, it can come true. The launch of the learning management system for on demand learning opportunities was a dream come true. Awarding the new Advanced Certified Leadership Professional (CLP-A) designation was a dream come true. Record breaking fundraising for the NAIW Legacy Foundation and sponsorship involvement at the Convention was a dream come true. The launch of the IAIP YouTube Channel was a dream come true and publishing 55 articles on Today’s Insurance Professional blog was a team come true. None of these dreams would have been possible without you, the member.
To the association, you, the member are a dream come true. The IAIP board of directors and staff dream up opportunities to help you further your career and every time you renew your members and refer a friend, it’s a dream come true. Every time you earn a designation or register to attend the convention, it’s a dream come true. So, when you don’t believe that you’re making a difference or that you are not influencing the next generation of insurance, please know that you are a dream come true for so many and we cannot do anything without you!
