Every month a member of the IAIP Board of Directors will bring insight into the current happenings of IAIP. We’ve streamlined the newsletter and moved the message to the Today’s Insurance Professionals blog where we have more space, and it can easily be referenced throughout the month.
October is here and so is the start of the fall season. October also means the regular football season has started along with pumpkin spice season and the dreaded budget season. However, this is the time to get your proposal together for attending the 2024 IAIP International Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona June 7-9, 2024. Regional hubs for Regions II, V, VI and VII will be held June 6.
To help with your budgeting process, the early bird registration has been set at $475 (+ hub if applicable) and the room rate per night (with taxes and fees) is about $170. We had to increase the registration fee due to increased food and beverage costs, but the room rate is lower than last year, so overall expenses should be comparable.
As part of your proposal, outline how attendance at the conference will benefit you and your employer. Here are some resources to help.
If you don’t ask, the answer is always no. And if the answer is no, you’ve now set yourself a budget and you’ve got eight months to save up.
